ACTS – Houston offers Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor training classes during the day in a 12-week format or in the evening that can be completed in 8 months. The Practicum class is taken after the classroom training.
We offer two convenient classroom schedules for you to choose from. Practicum Training will immediately follow completion of classroom training.
DAY SCHEDULE (12 weeks)
- Monday 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Tuesday 9:00am – 3:30 pm
- Wednesday 9:00am – 3:30pm
- Thursday 9:00am – 3:30pm* (early release every other Thursday)
EVENING SCHEDULE (8 months)
- Monday 6:00pm – 9:45 pm
- Wednesday 6:00pm – 9:45 pm
Practicum Training (8 weeks minimum)
The practicum immediately follows the classroom training and includes a Tuesday evening class and on-site training at a treatment facility.
- Classroom training: Thursday 6:00 pm –8:00 pm
- On-Site training: Weekly hours as scheduled by each individual training site.
